about me

Hello! I’m Cornel and I blog about things that inspire me, things I’ve made and Craft Share, the craft group I started in 2009.

You'll find lots of crochet on my blog, as well as my crochet and sewing projects for Ideas Magazine, since September 2011.

clip art frame with handmade and lace detail

I love to crochet with friends on a Friday morning!

These mornings at my house, twice a month, are called Craft Share.

On Friday we enjoyed our last get together for 2013. Our photos are always posted on Craft Share's Facebook page a day or so later. You are more than welcome to comment on each girl's craftiness and share in the joy of admiring someone else's work. Friday's album can be found here.

There is something I enjoy (almost) as much as crochet/knitting/sewing, and that is designing the little frames that go around each photo. I often use elements from digital scrapbooking kits and combine them in a way that make me want to look at the photos longer.

I started off with a round frame this week (see below)

but ended up with the rectangular inner-frame, as some of the photos I took on Friday didn't fit nicely. I'd love for you to use both of these frames though, so they're available as png files in the links below:

Visit my blog again if you'd like to see how easy it was to create the paper bunting with crocheted string I'm holding in the photo.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Love,

Cornel x
